Having retired I now have the time and the enthusiasm to indulge my hobby.  It is not difficult to find subjects to photograph.  Based in Hadleigh, Essex there are opportunities within easy reach – woods, fields, nature reserves, the seafront, Old Leigh, Hadleigh Castle, Southend Airport, RHS Hyde Hall to name but a few.

I have other interests which give me the opportunity to take or change photos – Church (see gallery on inspirational verses), Athletics and Aircraft.

I have a passion for photographing flowers/plants and landscapes.  I believe they reflect God’s creation  –  in the minute detail and the larger picture.

I encourage everyone to have a go at Photography.  It is not necessary to have the latest and most expensive camera and lens – many of the shots you will see have been taken on a smartphone.
